Get an overview of the tools and techniques involved in creating and updating websites. Discuss the practical matters of file organization, site navigation and content update strategies. Students get hands-on experience with Dreamweaver and HTML text editors. The process of uploading files is also covered. Use code to add graphics, links, and tables to your pages, and explore the power of CSS to format text consistently and quickly. Gain an understanding of the similarities and differences between HTML and XHTML, and practice using FTP to upload your pages to a live Web server.
