Take the courses necessary to prepare for CompTIA Certifications in Systems Engineering. Learn the processes of installation, configuration and maintenance of PC hardware. IT professionals are responsible for Systems Engineering and must be able to configure multiple drives, including IDE and SCSI interfaces, as well as install and configure modems, video cards, sound cards, and USB devices.

63131 Essentials of Hardware and Operating Systems
This CompTIA A+ Essentials course, 220-701 is required for everyone seeking A+ certification. Successful completion of the course validates knowledge of basic computer hardware and operating systems, including how to install, build, upgrade, repair, configure, troubleshoot, optimize, diagnose and perform preventive maintenance. Customer service and security skills are also covered. Course materials include test review materials, practice test software. Note: Exam Voucher is included when you complete 63131 and 63134, valid for 6 months upon completion of both classes. Prerequisites: Knowledge of computers and operating systems.

63134 Hardware Repair and Troubleshooting
CompTIA A+ 220-702 is the second and final A+ course for those who want more emphasis on computer repair and troubleshooting and less emphasis on in-person customer interaction. Work related scenarios such as bench work are emphasized. Note: Exam voucher is included when you complete 63131 and 63134, valid for 6 months upon completion of beth classes. Prerequisite: 63131.
