Lecture Series: We offer several series a semester that may include presentations by historians, folklorists, artists, photographers, scientists and more! Come join us for a few lectures and you will walk away with a greater understanding of our state as well as more intriguing questions to ponder.
Trips and Tours: People travel from all over the world to see the great sights of New Mexico! We are fortunate to live in one of the most scenic and interesting places in the country – a destination for vacationers and adventures alike! Our excursions will take you into places you may not have known existed and our guides will impart knowledge and history you will carry with you. Meet Krista Foutz - Program Coordinator
New Mexico’s endless beauty, complex and contending histories and rich cultural heritage earned the state its nickname as the Land of Enchantment. Behind all of this majesty and grandeur lies a deeper story that weaves through past, present and future: the Story of New Mexico. Our Travel and Lecture Series Programs allow for participants to engage in all New Mexico has to offer while adding new chapters of excitement to their own personal life story. A native of Gallup, NM, Krista Foutz holds a B.A. in History and Women’s Studies, M.A. in Latin American Studies and MBA from the University of New Mexico.
