Success stories

Eva Cano Solís

Having a faculty member from Spain guarantees not only excellence of foreign language instruction at our school but also brings a level of historical and cultural awareness to the classroom that is a boon for students. Ms. Cano-Solis assures that students have a complete Spanish language immersion experience, while utilizing an array of intriguing pedagogical tools. Her skill and grace in the classroom illustrate her training and experience in classroom management and teaching methodology.

She helps our institution meet its objective of inculcating more internationalism into the curriculum and she works tirelessly for our educational community. We feel incredibly fortunate to have a teacher of her caliber, dedication and enthusiasm at our school. The program is one of the things we are most proud of at our school.

Olga Herrera

Olga has made an immediate and significant impact on our students, both in and beyond the classroom. She has assisted in classes, working with small groups of students in language practice, tutoring those who need extra help, establishing a "Viernes Social" lunch group for those interested in further practicing their language, and generally assisting with virtually all of our Spanish classes, from Level 1 through Level 5. Having a Spanish native who is already a polished teacher working with our faculty has been a considerable gift, and I believe Olga has developed her own craft as a teacher by working in a rigorous independent school in America.
