Membership Committee
We are a member-driven organization and are always looking to increase enrollment and member participation. Our committee meets quarterly and helps plan communication strategies, ways to recruit and involve new members, and identify additional member benefits. If you enjoy people and would like to share what’s happening at Osher, we’d love to hear from you!
Curriculum Committee
The Curriculum Committees at Continuing Education and Del Webb Alegria make recommendations around quality curriculum and programming for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Comittee members provide feedback and suggestions regarding courses to be offered during the Spring, Fall and Summer semesters. Members may solicit completed course descriptions for review by the full committee and engage with Osher membership formally and informally, collecting member feedback and utilizing that feedback to develop quality and responsive course offerings. Members of the Osher Curriculum Committee may assist with the development of course descriptions and copy for Osher catalogs and other promotional materials.
Leadership Council
The Leadership Council meets monthly, providing feedback regarding the direction and programming of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. As a member driven organization, members of the leadership council engage with Osher members, collecting feedback and utilizing that feedback in conjunction with the committees to further solidify and improve the Osher Institute at the University of New Mexico.
