This class is a practical guide for those who have Spanish speaking experience and are motivated to converse but lack skills, vocabulary, and confidence. Through a progression of nouns, verbs, and other parts of speech, students are given the tools and structure which will enable them to be understood. This fun, total immersion adventure in language learning is taught through context. Students should have a basic understanding of grammar and sentence structure. Taking Spanish I and II before enrolling in this class is strongly recommended. This is not a beginning level class.

Here's an opportunity to not only decipher those curious dishes, but to go beyond menu-ordering. With this class, you will explore L'Art de Vivre - the art of living in France; from home to cafe lounging, fine cuisine and how to enjoy life. Learning a language is also discovering a culture so there will be history lessons on gastronomy as well as a wine and cheese tour of France. It is an enjoyable way to learn French with such topic! Students should bring a map of France to class.
