Regain your energy! Develop five, simple, new stress coping strategies. Learn concrete tools to remove health sapping stress from day-to-day activities and relationships. While a bit of stress is normal to add spice to tasks, enduring daily, energy draining stress can lead to unhealthy feelings emotionally and physically. During class "stress" is defined, and students identify their specific stressors. Then five new stress coping skills are presented in class and practiced on how to implement at home or work. Join us in creating a sustained relaxation lifestyle.

06520 Yoga for Weight Loss
Losing weight has a lot of components. The principals of yoga can re-shape our minds along with our bodieschange how we see, and how we treat, our bodies. In this practice, the yoga poses support the body in weight loss and, as the practice continues, the mind attitudes about the body. As anyone who has ever worked at losing weight before knows, the effort is as much in the mind as it is in the body. Gloria Drayer will lead you through yoga poses to help strengthen the body as it moves through the poses. The class also teaches the techniques of mindful eating and mediation to encourage love of he body and mind.
