GIS Training

A Geographic Information System is a computerized data management system that captures, stores, retrieves, analyzes, and reports geographic and demographic information. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a new and rapidly growing niche for IT professionals. GIS analysts display a wide variety of data as thematic layers related to geographic maps.

GIS provides tools to analyze any comprehensive set of data tied to location information. New data patterns are revealed for complete high level spatial analysis. This affords new ways to glean practical information to help identify solutions to complex, real world challenges. GIS provides businesses, government agencies and industry with an evolving, sophisticated technology to address increasingly refined needs for information.
