Training & Development Program Administrator

Position Summary: Continuing Education is one of the top-ranked non-credit continuing education programs in the nation. We offer a variety of courses and programs in computers, business and personal enrichment. For all ages, there is an ever-changing slate Personal Enrichment and Story of New Mexico programs in the arts, health, languages, financial management and educational trips and tours.
Under general supervision, conducts needs assessments with prospective training customers to determine appropriate custom courses, programs or services required. Designs and develops adult training programs in professional development, IT, and green technology areas for UNM employees as well as government agencies and businesses in the Albuquerque and statewide area. Attends educational events, professional associations and user groups, and meets with business and community leaders to promote Continuing Education programs and services. . Writes proposals and contracts for training customers. Manages the coordination of the delivery of customized services including hiring appropriate instructors, determining appropriate course materials, scheduling classes, etc. Works closely with a small team of other training professionals to meet yearly programmatic and financial goals. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position.
Skills / Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in training and development, business administration or related degree. Three to five years of experience designing and developing adult training programs. Experience developing online courses is a plus. Expertise and knowledge in leadership and professional development or green technology area (solar and green construction) preferred. Demonstrated sales and/or marketing experience. Two or more years of contract, grant, or proposal writing experience. Strong presentation skills to represent UNM CE in the community at events and professional meetings. Strong work ethic and self initiative required to meet ongoing department goals.

Part-Time Instructors
UNM Continuing Education is looking for a few experienced part-time Instructors to deliver Sales Training to a local computer company. Need to have 3-5 years experience in training, including some sales training experience. Also need to have 3-5 years of sales experience in a call center, technical sales experience, or other sales experience.
