In partnership with The Wedding Planning Institute, UNM Continuing Education is offering this 40-hour hands-on comprehensive program which covers everything an aspiring wedding planner needs to know to get started in the business. It will provide all the tools necessary to work as a professional wedding planner either running your own wedding planning business or working for existing wedding vendors. Fee includes textbook, online library and a national certification from the Wedding Planning Institute.

Grant Writing: Get a Solid Grip on the Basics is one of several new grantsmanship and proposal writing classes being offered this spring. This course is a detailed introduction to the process and structure of grant proposal writing and will include an overview of: the relationship between overall program planning and proposal development; the basics of foundation, corporation, and government grant research; the different kinds of grant proposals and how to approach each one; and the key elements to include in a successful grant proposal.
