Bring your questions! Due to interest, we’ve added another free information session and moved the start date of the Spring Program to February 1! There is still time to get in to this effective program. In partnership with Kaplan Financial, the nation’s leading provider of financial planning and education materials, UNM Continuing Education is proud to offer the Executive Certificate in Financial Planning. Please join us to learn more about the opportunities for Certified Financial Planners.

The financial planning field is experiencing tremendous growth. Employment for Financial Advisors in New Mexico is projected to grow 30.1% by 2012, according to the New Mexico Department of Labor. Many New Mexico employers are actively recruiting CFPs!

This 9-month certificate program will provide students with a strong foundation of professional knowledge about financial planning theory, concepts and practice. Students pay one price for the full six-course program. Students who successfully complete the certificate will be eligible to sit for the CFP® Certification Examination. Course content is geared towards the objectives of the CFP exam.
