Starting an Information Consulting Business in New Mexico

Have you dreamed of running your own information technology (IT) consulting business in New Mexico? Continuing Education at UNM has a course to help you get started.

This twelve-hour “boot camp” will give students hands-on experience for launching a small IT consultancy in New Mexico. It will provide an overview of business idea evaluation, legal and tax requirements, business models, accounting methods, marketing, networking, advertising, production, fulfillment, contracts, business tax deductions, insurance and planning for growth.

The course will be taught by two established information consultants, who provide service successfully and for the long-term in New Mexico:

He builds information systems that are usable, secure, maintainable, and extendable. His current focus is on solutions that address content management, workflow and process automation, roles-based security, personalization, business intelligence, content syndication and Section 508 usability.
