UNM Continuing Education’ Explorations in Integrative Wellness program has a new course geared to address alternative options available to women living with depression—many women simply don’t know that it may be possible to treat depression without resorting to conventional pharmaceutical treatment. Three practitioners (Javan Oston, Chiropractor, Alyssa Wostrel, Homeopath, and Mark Raterink, Medical Doctor) will present information about various treatment modalities and treatment options for depression, based on their own observations in their practices and general knowledge of the alternative treatment of depression.

Women and Depression: Holistic Options for Treatment, Wednesday June 11 from 6-9pm and Saturday August 23 from 9:30pm-12:30pm. Classes held at UNM Continuing Education, 1634 University Blvd NE. Cost is $59. For information call 277-6025. To register or to request a catalog, call 277-0077 or visit our web site at dce.unm.edu.
