NM Professional Filmmakers Showcase [23496]

Enjoy an evening of New Mexico professional films on the big screen, Friday, March 6, from 6 pm to 9 pm at Continuing Education North Building, 1634 University Blvd. For the price of $19 participants will appreciate the screening of several original short films chosen by the Friends of Film, Video and the Arts (FoFVA), theater seating, refreshments and Q&A with local filmmakers.

Grant Writing: Get a Solid Grip on the Basics [22522]

Grant Writing: Get a Solid Grip on the Basics is one of several new grantsmanship and proposal writing classes being offered this spring. This course is a detailed introduction to the process and structure of grant proposal writing and will include an overview of: the relationship between overall program planning and proposal development; the basics of foundation, corporation, and government grant research; the different kinds of grant proposals and how to approach each one; and the key elements to include in a successful grant proposal.
