There’s an amazing summer lined up at Continuing Education. You know we love bringing you new things!
Click here to see all of the *NEW* Personal Enrichment classes at a glance. And every summer, we offer a great program for youth to help them be active, creative and healthy. Click here to see the planning guide for Youth classes. Check out the new bios for two of our fine instructors, Anthony Rosales who teaches Fitness Kickboxing and Yoga instructor Patsy Gaetano.
How about a summer vacation at “Club Ed”? Enjoy a full immersion week of digital photography in July, with field trips and computer training. Plus, there’s an overnight field trip to the annual butterfly count in Sugarite Canyon with digital photography instruction included.
Writers, not only do we have the 3rd Annual Writers Conference this Saturday (April 28th) with editors, writers and agents from all over the country, including Hollywood, there are two writers’ mini lecture series presented by author Robert Gish.
There’s a brand new Fitness and Personal Training program for what the ABCnews.com site states is the 4th hottest job in the U.S.
In other great developments, Professional Development now offers the chance to enroll for your entire Certificate at once across two or more semesters (called Early Enrollment.)
There’s still plenty of “Spring!” in our step, too— late Spring classes are still going strong! Enjoy great Story of New Mexico field trips in May to places like Taos and the Crownpoint Rug Auction. Computer classes are ongoing, too, with classes starting soon in Excel, Access and more. Our classes are scheduled on an ongoing basis to fit into as many schedules as possible. Registration is ongoing; you may register for a class anytime until it begins.
Thanks to all and have a great summer! (Starting now!)
Enjoy a “full immersion” learning experience this summer! We’ve put together four courses that will give you everything you need to know to take great digital pictures and put them to use! In just a week of your time, you can learn how to get your current print photographs into the computer, enjoy brief field trips led by an experienced digital photographer, and come back to the classroom to learn how to edit your new photgraphs as well as calibrate your equipment.
