On Saturday, April 25, 2009 from 8:30am–4:30pm UNM Continuing Education will be hosting a conference designed to give attendees what they asked for. For the cost of $140 conference attendees will be treated to a humorous keynote speaker and prolific author of 19 novels, have the opportunity to meet with editors and agents and learn what’s selling in the publishing industry, and what they are buying. All attendees also have the opportunity to sign up for a one-on-one meeting with an editor or agent to “pitch” their writing project. The Writers Conference will be held at the UNM Continuing Education North Building 1634 university Blvd NE.
