Description:
- Facilitate half-day Spring Break camp for kids ages 6-9 or 10-13.
- Camp runs from Monday, March 23-Friday, March 28, 2009.
- Morning and Afternoon positions are available.
- Class size between 10- 22.
- Camp will take place at UNM Continuing Education North Building at 1634 University Blvd in Albuquerque and may include fieldtrips.
- Assistants will be hired for classes at the discretion of the program supervisor.
- The camps are hands-on and feature multidisciplinary explorations and guest educators.
- The camp will culminate in a “Creativity Convention” on Friday, March 28.
Qualifications: Experience teaching elementary youth or running youth programs, facilitating hands-on activities with target age groups.
Attributes: Educators who enjoy hands-on activities and multi-disciplinary explorations. Creative, positive and enthusiastic educators. Background with topic matter appreciated.
Stipend: $350 per camp (15 contact hours).
