Study topics, by coding category, include: Hospital Inpatient, Consultations Inpatient, Critical Care, Inpatient Neonatal and Pediatric Critical Care and Intensive Care, Prolonged Care Inpatient and Newborn Care. Workshop materials are included in fee, but attendees must bring a current version of the CPT-4 coding manual. This workshop will include: Steps for coding surgical procedures, CCI edit review, Global Surgical Package, Multiple and Bilateral surgical coding rules, the use of modifiers, review of surgical terms and much more.
