In one evening, this class will focus on how your household can reduce the use of utilities, toxic substances, help the environment… and keep more money in your pocket! Part of the class is hands-on. Learn how to install water saving appliances and create rain collection barrels. Read more about the instructor, Denise R. Wheeler, who also teaches Basic and Intermediate Home Repair classes and is the coordinator of Community Renovation Empowering Women, a volunteer building group working for agencies serving women and children in New Mexico.
