El Paso Pilgrimage and Hal Marcus
We will travel to El Paso, where we’ll meet Hal Marcus, an artist who has graciously invited us to visit his home and his studio, where he has beautifully incorporated his vibrant folk art style. The next day, Good Friday, join the pilgrimmage to the top of Christo Rey. (The first 200 yards are a bit difficult, but the remainder of the two-mile journey is not.) Stories of this location and the people who live here impart a sense of the sacred. Fee includes travel and lodging.
