Abq Journal article captures scope of Continuing Ed

UNM Continuing Education was included in the recent article, “An abundance of classes and concerts start the year,” published Sunday, January 20 in the “Best Bets” feature of the “Mature Life” section of the Albuquerque Journal. The article covered the different avenues to learning available to Mature Life readers this Spring, and included CE. You may view the article here. This is how the Journal summed up Continuing Ed:

By Jane Mahoney: “The University of New Mexico’s Continuing Education Department offers programs in personal enrichment, business and technology, and travel, history and culture for all ages. Registration is ongoing throughout the semester, but many classes fill quickly. Pick up a catalog at the Continuing Ed office, University and Indian School, or at most public libraries. Learn how to play the guitar, fly-fish or take a field trip to Chaco Canyon. Call 277-0077 or visit dce.unm.edu.

These are the high points— and there’s so much more!

Don’t forget about the exciting Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, a dynamic, active membership community for adults over 50 years and above who value enhancing the quality of life through education. Membership is only $40 per year and course fees start at $20.

We hope you explore UNM Continuing Education to see what it might have for you.
