Learn Spanish during a 2 week bicultural immersion field trip!

Speak in Spanish for real life situations and converse with native speakers, and learn Spanish while enjoying México’s natural beauty and rich cultural background!

Kukulcan, an educational community near Cuernavaca, México, provides a supportive bicultural experience for students of Spanish. To enhance cultural understanding, history, literature, music, traditional medicine and film courses are taught in English. The arts and crafts of Mexico, such as pottery, weaving, cooking and bark painting, and fun bicultural experiences such as folkloric dance and Latin American popular and folk songs are shared with the students.

Spanish immersion experience: The faculty, host family network, and professional contacts are integrated into the immersion programs. Everyone plays an important role in teaching the students Spanish and participating in events which reflect the culture of Mexico, to create a “real-life” cultural experience for the student.

Facility: Kukulcan’s modern facility features wireless internet, a cooking lab, business lounge, beautiful gardens and swimming pools - and more! Students stay with a Mexican family and become part of their lives, or for an additional fee for meals, stay in the Residence Halls.
