Medical Herbalism 101, 12 Tuesday evenings starting August 28.
A team of instructors includes the owner of Herbs, Etc. in Santa Fe and a practicing Medical Herbalist; a licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbalist and Registered Professional Herbalist; and the owner-operator of The Herb Store in Albuquerque for 14 years, a wild-crafter who makes his own herbal medicine and has taught courses in botany and wild plant identification.
Curanderismo in the 21st Century, one 5 hour Saturday session on September 8, a concentrated, convenient Curanderismo course taught by a Registered Nurse & Curandera.
Curanderismo and Community, a unique workshop on 2 Saturdays starting September 15. Taught by the core group of a community of traditional healing professionals, Kalpulli Izkalli (which means Community House of Light), including a Nurse Practitioner, Massage Therapist, Reiki Master and Ceremonial Leader among others.
Ayurveda: An Integrated Approach to Wellness, 4 Saturday mornings starting November 13. Taught by an instructor and practitioner with The Ayurvedic Institute. The Ayurvedic Institute was brought to Albuquerque by its founder, Dr. Vasant Lad, and is known around the world and recognized as one of the leading Ayurveda schools and Ayurvedic health spas outside of India.
