A summer of digital photography & photo-shoot field trips

Get started with “Club Ed!” We have a one-week, total immersion experience planned to teach beginning to intermediate photographers everything you need to know to become proficient at digital photography. Club Ed includes field trips guided by an experienced digital photographer for shooting on location, and class time back in the computer labs to learn the basics of image manipulation and color calibration. Club Ed enrollment is a $75 discount over the cost of the courses individually.

Story of New Mexico’s featured digital photography field trip: Join us for the annual butterfly count in Sugarite Canyon. Whether your interest is in digital photography, counting butterflies, smelling the wildflowers, or just seeing some incredible sights, the beauty and fresh mountain air are sure to be a memorable getaway. Led by award-winning photographer Lisa Tannenbaum and Steve Cary, NM State Parks Chief Naturalist.
Departs: Saturday, June 30, 8 am | Returns: Sunday, July 1, 8 pm.

Nature & Landscape Photography : Combine your natural talent with a solid working knowledge of your digital camera while in the great outdoors. Starts June 12.
Photography with a Digital Camera with Field Trips : Recommended for those new to photography as well as film photographers who want to make the switch to digital. Short field trips are included! Starts July 9.
Digital SLR Techniques : SLR is the gold standard for digital photography. Learn the technical requirements to achieve the results you want. Starts July 11.
Photographing New Mexico Digitally [includes field trip to Abó / Quarai] : Class meets before and after the field trip for discussion of composition and techniques. Starts August 1.
