If you’ve heard of Toastmaster’s International, you know they are a worldwide success, a supportive system where people re-invent themselves into better communicators with more confidence. Continuing Education offers a course, SpeechCraft, which features a Toastmaster’s curriculum and is taught by a Toastmaster’s leader. This gives you a chance to enjoy the benefits of Toastmaster’s without having to find a group and while only committing to 8 weeks of your time!

The program director is also considering offering courses in Parliamentary Procedure. The first course will train participants to lead a meeting using Robert’s Rules of Order. The course will be taught by a certified Parliamentarian (did you know they have a very active professional group in Albuquerque?) and will include instruction as well as interaction during a practice-meeting.
