Computer Aided Drafting

Learn beginning, intermediate and advanced AutoCAD from expert local practitioners with UNM Continuing Education.

Computer Assisted Drafting (CAD) proficiency is required for architects and other professionals who use computer drafting and drawing techniques.

The Beginning AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT (lite) courses include class exercises so students can practice the basic functions of the software. Students gain an understanding of the drawing fundamentals of AutoCAD compared and contrasted with manual drafting. Further exercises are practiced in the intermediate and advanced classes so that students can complete tasks and solve problems with AutoCAD.

Register and complete any of our AutoCAD classes and receive access to the AutoCAD student version for three years. The student version contains the same AutoCAD software as the $4000 version but is to be used for students practice and projects only. Access information is given in class.
