We offer training for certification in Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro, Apple’s premiere video editing and music production software. FCP 101: Introduction to Final Cut Pro X 57911
Final Cut Pro is a revolutionary video editing application that makes it possible for beginners and seasoned professionals to achieve stunning results. This three-day, hands-on course teaches students to perform basic editing functions while becoming familiar with the user interface. Start with basic video editing techniques and work all the way through Final Cut Pro's powerful advanced features. Students work with dramatic real-world media to learn the practical techniques used daily in editing projects. Notes: This is an AATC course. One Apple Certification Exam Session is included, valid for six months upon completion of the class. This class has a 14-day advance notice cancellation policy. Prerequisite: 54101/11 or basic knowledge of Mac OS X; must have Mac OS X experience. Suggested: 57105 or basic knowledge of editing terminology.

Register to take your Apple IT or Pro Apps exam at our AATC facility. Notes: Exams are non-refundable. Prices are subject to change and may vary by exam. Transfers are permitted within the same semester only. Call 505-277-6037 to inquire about exam prep, retake discounts and exam sessions included with the Apple Creative Professional classes. Prerequisite: Varies by exam. Retakes: $100. Documentation of previous exam taken at our facility required for all retakes.

Logic 101: Introduction to Logic Pro 9 57981
This three-day hands-on course introduces students to the primary features and basic user interface of Logic Pro. Students learn how to generate a customized audio and midi configuration that will seamlessly integrate with their own personal production studio. Students also create their own song using Logic Pro's comprehensive array of software instruments, Apple Loops and DSP effects. In-depth lessons will cover MIDI and audio recording, streamlined editing and arrangement techniques, user defined key commands, automation, scoring to picture and surround mixing. Notes: This is an AATC course. One Apple Certification Exam Session is included, valid for six months upon completion of the class. This class has a 14-day advance notice cancellation policy. Prerequisite: 54101/11 or basic knowledge of Mac OS X; must have Mac OS X experience. Suggested: 57601 or basic knowledge of audio terminology.
