Work with Adobe Flash's timeline-based animation system to create animated presentations for delivery in a wide variety of formats. Topics include using Flash drawing tools, creating animations with keyframes and tweening, linking Flash movies together into websites or other presentation formats, and publishing Flash movies for delivery on the Web, CD or DVD. Prerequisite: 56101 or 57105. Suggested: 56211, 57105.

57322 Final Cut Pro: Beginning-Intermediate
Learn basic editing functions while becoming familiar with the Apple Final Cut Pro user interface. Start with basic video editing techniques and work all the way through Final Cut Pro's powerful advanced features. Students work with dramatic real-world media to learn the practical techniques used daily in editing projects. Notes: This class is equivalent to FCP 101 (57911). Class 57911 includes one Apple Certification Exam Session at a discounted price. Prerequisite: 54101/11 or basic knowledge of Macintosh OS X; must have Macintosh experience. Suggested: 57105 or basic knowledge of editing terminology.

Create the illusion of motion or transformation with photography, video, illustration, and animation. Learn how images and type are choreographed to produce attractive and dynamic motion graphics. Discuss the history of motion graphics, and its importance in film, television, and digital media. Topics include design and concept considerations, compositing tools and techniques, and criteria for output delivery to digital media. Prerequisite: 51101/11 or 54101/11 or equivalent experience.
