Our classes are convenient & quick
Learn what you need to know when you need to know it: Continuing Education classes start up throughout the semester, so you’re likely to find a class when you need it. The classes are designed to get practical and vital knowledge of the subject to the students quickly, in focused, short-term time-frames. They are offered in the mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. We even feature intensive “Fast Track” courses, which will get you up to speed in one day. This is a great option when you need help to get a project done for the office in Word or Excel.
No admissions requirements, just enroll in any class.
Tuition Remission: All of Continuing Education’s classes are eligible for UNM’s tuition remission. This page has complete guidelines with links to all the forms you may need.
Free parking: The Continuing Education facility has free parking so that no matter what time of day or night, parking is not a concern when you take a class. Find our facility here.
Locations throughout town: The Personal Enrichment Program delivers classes to neighborhoods throughout town. Continuing Education has extended our offerings, including professional classes, to the westside and Rio Rancho.
Instructors with real world experience: Continuing Education is proud of our instructors. Our IT and Professional instructors have current experience in their subject, and many of them are leaders in their field. The classes relate to the real world because the instructors bring in their professional knowledge. The Personal Enrichment Program has many dedicated and talented instructors. Adult learning model: Many of our classes are innovative and responsive to the most current career trends, or recent discoveries in the arts and other interests. The classes are of high quality, practical, and to the point, and are convenient for busy schedules. We value your time as much as you do. As well as the classes, registration is convenient and accessible and our program coordinators are available to advise and assist you.
Classes designed just for UNM employees
Learn how to function in Banner. UNM Continuing Education has custom-designed courses in Hyperion to cover the subject matter most needed by UNM employees. You can learn how to effectively utilize Hyperion to access all the reports you need. Our students can put their knowledge to work right away. Good for individuals or groups. Bring your entire workgroup and get everyone comfortable with the new requirements.
