Enthusiasm in action
Lisa Tannenbaum, BM
Lisa earned a Bachelor of Music from the New England Conservatory of Music. Her first experience teaching was in 1977 with guitar lessons for her neighborhood, and she discovered she loved to teach. Her teaching career has been a natural extension of her various creative interests such as jewelry-making. Lisa first began working with digital cameras and in web design in 1998. Lisa has many years of experience in the design and maintenance of websites for small business, making search engine optimization and e-commerce her niche. Both her photography and her websites have earned awards.
In fact, congratulations to Lisa on the recent appearance of her photography website, newmexicophotos.com, in New Mexico magazine. Also, her photograph was selected for the cover of the Albuquerque Convention & Visitor’s Bureau Official Meeting Planner Guide.
Lisa is also a published author. She recently co-authored a textbook, Adobe Photoshop Elememts 3.0 Illustrated, from Course Technology.
It's a natural to combine her enthusiasm for these pursuits with her talent for teaching, and students have fun learning with Lisa. Whether she’s explaining how HTML code works or how to manipulate digital images, her enthusiasm, knowledge and passion for her subject energizes the classroom.
