A multimedia developer with the emphasis on “media”

Bradley Stoddard

Owner of a local multimedia company, Brad produces digital video and computer graphics for CD-ROM, DVD, and web-based learning systems. Brad specializes in video-editing with Final Cut Pro and Premiere. Brad is one of the first to complete the training with Apple Computers to become an Apple Certified Trainer in New Mexico. He is one of the founders of the Digital Fine Arts Society—New Mexico.

Brad is also an award winning filmmaker. He used Final Cut Pro to perform the video editing on the recent short film production, “Clown Camp,” produced by Bill Halverson, which won “Best Picture” in the 2003 DigiFest Film Festival 2 and “Best Overall Movie” in the 2003 Fiery Film Fest. He recently won a spot to have his script produced in the 2005 Duke City Shootout Digital Film Festival. Brad also acted as director for the production.

Instructor earns national recognition

Brad’s most recent awards include two Bronze Telly Awards during the 28th Annual Telly Awards competition. The 28th Annual Telly Awards received over 14,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents. The Telly Awards are the premiere award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest in video and film. Brad’s awards were earned in collaboratoin with the University of New Mexico — University College for “The Research Service Learning Program at UNM”, and with Friends of Film, Video and Arts for “Director’s Cut New Mexico — The Art of the Interview”.

The Friends of Film, Video and Arts, based in Albuquerque, is a new partner with the Digital Arts Program for new film classes coming up in the Spring ’08 semester.
