Mark Justice Hinton, BA
Mark has been an instructor with Continuing Education’s IT and Digital Arts programs since 1988. He’s taught thousands of students in classes from DOS to Web Design; specializing in HTML, Javascript and Dreamweaver. Mark says he enjoys working with students and watching the “ah-ha!” expression appear on their faces.
Congratulations to Mark on the recent publication of “Windows Vista Solutions,” subtitled “How to Love Your Vista, from PC Magazine.” Mark is the sole author of the 20-chapter, 457-page textbook, which covers everything from whether to upgrade to Vista or buy a new PC, to Vista’s multimedia features. Mark has worked with computers for 25 years, since before the PC existed, and is a veteran of every version of Windows.

Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia in German Language and Literature. Mark is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in Windows.
Mark started teaching in the early days of personal computers. He learned and taught the rudiments of code while JavaScript and HTML were first being developed for the World Wide Web. His students benefit from his knack for teaching people about computers, first discovered during his role as the Data Processing Manager for the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, D.C. Mark first brought his talents to New Mexico 20 years ago. He is an avid blogger, photographer, and poet.
