Applicants for registration as a Real Estate Appraiser in New Mexico must complete 75 board-approved classroom hours of real estate appraisal, or the equivalent of board-approved education, and demonstrate knowledge of the licensing law by submitting a correctly completed questionnaire on New Mexico state license law and regulations.

  • Enroll at UNM Continuing Education to take your 75 hours of instruction: Foundations of Real Estate Appraisal (30 hours), Appraising the Single Famliy Residence (30 hours), and Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, (15 hours).
